Hi, I’m Murray Wootten, and I’m a proud owner of a Hydrolab 4.85 Centre Console. I’ve had the boat for around 7 months now and have put over 150 hours on the motor, so I feel like I can give a pretty honest review of how it performs.
From the first look, the boat stands out as solid and well-built, and that really shows in the ride. It’s tough, dependable, and handles rough conditions with confidence. I’ve had it out in some pretty wild weather, and it’s performed exceptionally well every time.
At the same time, when the water’s calm, it’s incredibly smooth and glides along effortlessly. My layout is also really spacious, with plenty of dry storage, which makes a big difference out on the water.
Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the boat and would highly recommend it

First boat for me, and it’s already been a game changer, getting my boys out on the water chasing fish and making memories.
It's been super easy to launch and retrieve solo, heaps of room for the three of us to fish comfortably, and it punches through chop way better than you’d expect for its size.
